SILICONE DEFOAMER

Defoamers are the anti- foaming chemical additives that contain a blend of activated silicone oil and surfactants. This type of agents are primarily used in industrial process liquids to reduce the foam formation. Formation of the foam can cause defects on surface coatings and prevent the efficient filling of containers. In addition to reduction in the foam generation, this type of additive also controls its complete generation in the industrial liquid.



G P SD 211 compound is a 100% silicone defoamer. It is widely used as a versatile defoamer, in various industrial applications

GP SDP 1208 EMULSION acts primarily as an antifoam agent and drainage aid and may be added at various stages during the manufacturing process. GP SDP 2208 EMULSION is mainly applied to pulp - washing and screening processes but is also effective during bleaching and in waste water treatment.

Defoamer (antifoaming agent) improves drainage in the paper mill. It is also improves drainage in the Kraft pulp stock, sulfite stock, bleaching plant screen room area in the pulp mill. A defoamer (antifoaming agent) reduces paper breaking and hence improves paper machine runnability. Therefore increases paper mill production. Defoamer (antifoaming agent) also lessen steam consumption in the dryers and resultant energy savings as well as cost savings. Defoamer avoids paper formation of holes by removing fine bubbles in fibres.
